Smart Irrigation Workshop
July was Smart Irrigation Month! The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority held a Smart Irrigation Workship to teach water-wise habits that will result in a healthier lawn and landscape, in addition to conserving water. Topics discussed included basic irrigation components and maintenance, irrigation alternatives, water-wise landscaping and plant selection and more.
Participants had a chance to win fantastic (water-saving) door prizes including a Mini Click Rain Sensor, sponsored by New Hanover County home builder Mark Johnson Custom Homes.
