It begins at 11:00 am on New Year’s Day at Wrightsville Beach Park in Wrightsville Beach, NC and proceeds will benefit the Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry (WARM). Preregistration is $20 at www.active.com or you can print out the registration form on their website and mail to their office. You can also register at the race, beginning at 9:30, for $25. 

The first 100 to register receive $15 gift cards to TriSports. The first 300 to register receive a WARM winter hat. Awards will be given to the Top 3 in each age group and there will be lots of door prizes!

Southeastern North Carolina’s WARM (Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry) is currently looking for donations to help low-income homeowners stay “WARM for the Holidays.”

Your tax-deductible donation in the name of a loved one will help support and expand WARM’s important work across Southeastern North Carolina.

They will be happy to send your loved one, or their family, a greeting card acknowledging your thoughtful gift. Make sure to include your phone or email when you check out!

WARM Pancake Breakfast

WARMIn a previous blog post, St. James Plantation, NC custom home builder Mark Johnson Custom Homes introduced you to WARM, the Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry. WARM aims to help those in need, including the elderly and disabled, living in substandard housing. In an effort to raise funds for WARM, the United Methodist Church will host a Pancake Breakfast at their Family Life Center at 4008 South College Road from 7:30 – 11:00 am this Saturday, November 14th. Tickets are just $5 and can be purchased at the door.
